1. Who we are

- Name: [Privacy Officer name]
- Email: [privacy@gtaloop.com]
- Phone: [416-555-0142]

- Drivers and applicants, including lead drivers, chase drivers and people who apply.
- Community advisors and staff who dispatch trips and answer support.
- Visitors to our website and the GTA Loop services page, including people who join a waitlist.
It explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and the choices you have.
3. Information we collect
We collect only what we need to run safe rides and pay our drivers fairly.

4. How we use it
- Match you with a vetted team of two and get you and your car home.
- Calculate prices, take payment, apply agreed extra charges and send receipts.
- Vet drivers: confirm licences, driving records, background checks and insurance.
- Run live dispatch, so advisors can see which teams are free and send the closest one.
- Keep everyone safe: share your trip with your chosen contact, check that teams get home, and respond to incidents.
- Settle disputes about damage, sickness, waiting time, no-shows and cancellations.
- Pay drivers and advisors, and keep tax and accounting records.
- Answer support requests.
- Improve the service using summary trip data.
- Meet legal duties and respond to lawful requests.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use it for advertising by other companies.
5. Location and GPS
Drivers: your phone shares its GPS location only while you are online. Your community advisor, our admin team and, during a trip, your customer can see it. When you go offline, sharing stops. We keep trip routes as a record of each trip.
Customers: if you tap "Use my current location", we use your phone's location once to fill in your pickup address. You can type an address instead. We do not track customers between trips.
You can turn location off in your phone settings at any time. Drivers cannot take trips while location is off, because dispatch and safety checks depend on it.
6. Vehicle photos and trip evidence
Before every trip, the lead driver photographs the customer's car: front, back, both sides and the dashboard (fuel and kilometres). They take photos again at drop-off. These photos protect both the customer and the driver if there is a question about damage.
If a passenger is sick in the car, the driver takes a photo before a clean-up fee is charged. Photos are taken of the car, not of people.
The customer, the team on that trip, our advisors and our insurer can see these photos.
7. Consent and your choices
By creating an account, you agree to the uses in this policy. For sensitive steps we ask separately:
- Drivers consent in writing before we run a police check or vulnerable sector check.
- Your phone asks before sharing location, camera or notifications. You can say no.
- We send marketing messages only if you opt in.
You can withdraw consent at any time by contacting our Privacy Officer. Some services may stop working without it. For example, we cannot dispatch drivers without their location, or approve a driver without a background check.
8. Who we share it with

| Your driver team | Your first name, pickup, drop-off, car details, plate, phone (masked where possible) | To do the trip |

Our service providers may use your information only to provide their service to us. If we sell or merge the business, your information may transfer to the new owner under this policy.
9. Storage outside Canada
We store our data in [Canada / the country where your server is]. Some providers, such as Google Maps Platform, payment processors and notification services, may process information in the United States or other countries. When that happens, your information is subject to the laws of that country, and authorities there may be able to access it. We choose providers that commit to protecting it.

11. How we protect it
- Encrypted connections (https) for the app and website.

- Staff and advisors see only what their role needs.
- Background check results and licence photos are kept in restricted storage.
- Card details stay with our payment processor.
No system is perfectly secure. If a breach creates a real risk of significant harm, we will report it to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada and notify affected people as soon as feasible. We keep a record of every breach for two years.
12. Your rights
- See the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct anything that is wrong.
- Delete your account and personal information. You can do this in the app under Account, or by contacting us. We keep only what the law requires, such as tax records.

Send requests to our Privacy Officer. We reply within 30 days and may ask you to confirm who you are.
If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
13. Texts, emails and notifications
We send messages you need to use the service: sign-in codes, trip updates, receipts, safety check-ins, and shift and payout alerts for drivers.
We send news and offers only if you opt in. Every marketing message includes a way to unsubscribe, and we stop within 10 business days.
You can turn push notifications on or off in the app or your phone settings. Drivers may miss trip requests if notifications are off.
14. Age and changes
You must be 19 or older to use DriveMeNow. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 19. If we learn we have, we delete it.
We may update this policy. We change the "Last updated" date at the top, and tell you in the app or by email before a significant change takes effect.
